The crisis in renal transplantation continues to grow as more patients wait for kidney donation than ever before. To meet this urgent need, the Renal and Pancreas Transplant Division of Barnabas Health, one of the largest programs in the country, created New Jersey’s first and only Living Donor Institute. The Institute was established to promote living donation as the best transplant option for patients with chronic kidney disease who require or may soon require dialysis.
