Children between the ages of 4 and 8 are invited to bring their Teddy Bears or favorite stuffed animals to learn about medical equipment and procedures and become comfortable with a hospital visit. Together, children and their “patients” will visit a series of interactive play stations so that children will have a good time learning that they don’t have to fear a trip to the hospital. This program is sponsored by the John La Conti, MD Fund in support of the Child Life Program.

– Camps and summer schools may participate by registering for the morning session. Please note that time slots are given to camps/schools on a first to register, first served basis.
– The Teddy Bear Clinic will follow an open house format. Parents and children can arrive anytime between 1:00 and 2:30 pm to experience the interactive play stations at their leisure. Individual community members may participate by registering for the afternoon session.
