Elaborate Evening of Fine Food, Featuring The Infernos Thursday, March 25, 2010 Valley Regency Party for a Purpose was created in 2007 in loving memory of Vincent Tedesco by his wife Janet Tedesco and their family and friends. The purpose of this annual event is to support The Cancer Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and to recognize the physicians and staff for the compassionate care they provide to the community. The Cancer Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center works with patients and their families in a compassionate, supportive environment, instilling hope, strength and spirit. The Cancer Center offers a comprehensive setting that provides each patient with personalized attention and support through an extremely difficult and stressful time. Our Medical Oncologists offer state-of-the-art medical care and a unique level of personalized attention and caring. A Nurse Navigator has been established to provide patients with a personal contact upon entry and throughout treatment. For patient convenience, The Cancer Center offers private treatment rooms designed with patient comfort in mind and an on-site lab and pharmacy. Clinical trials are available as is genetic counseling. Our extensive psychosocial programs help patients and their families face the unique challenges presented by cancer and help them to create a life that extends beyond the disease. Proceeds from last year’s event were used to purchase new powered exam tables in the physician office suites which enhance the safety and comfort of our patients. This year’s Party for a Purpose will allow The Cancer Center at Saint Barnabas to continue to provide exceptional care to patients and their families. To download the invitation as pdf, click here.
