Miracle Walk is an annual walk-a-thon that was created by a family in gratitude for the care their daughter received during a three-month stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. A team of dedicated parents have joined together to organize and participate in this event which raises financial support for the NICU. In the past 10 years, Miracle Walk has raised more than $3 million to purchase advanced medical equipment for the NICU.
Friends, family, and community members may sponsor a walker, make a donation, or walk any distance that is comfortable for them. Miracle Walk kicks-off with a host of family-friendly activities, refreshments, and entertainment including a DJ, face painting, balloon art, cartoon characters and more. Scenic Verona Park boasts a stroller-friendly path to allow everyone in the family to get involved and make a difference.
